> Community Involvement
Woodland Hills youth learn that by giving their time, care and concern, they
gain a greater respect for themselves and others. Our youth give back to the
community through service work such as participating in the
adopt-a-grandparent program at local nursing homes, reading to elementary
students, volunteering time at daycare centers, serving meals to the less
fortunate and working on adopt-a-highway projects. Through these and other
experiences, youth realize the spirit of giving and discover that they can
make a difference.
